Description
5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Remington 55 Grain M193 FMJ Ball “Range Grade” Ammunition
This “range grade” ammunition is manufactured in the USA on high end arsenal grade machines and undergoes a loose visual inspection before packing. Ammunition is loaded using Lake City manufactured .224 diameter (223 Rem or 5.56×45 NATO) 55 grain new M193 FMJ Ball projectiles.
Only once-fired military and police brass is used in loading. This brass is acid washed, processed to SAAMI specifications, and electromagnetically inspected for thin walls and defects to ensure safe internal tolerances.
In the loading process, FedArm uses only the top quality powders and primers. Powder is dropped to +/- 0.1 grain accuracy to ensure the best performance.
Velocity / Pressure: 2,950 FPS (SAAMI pressure)
What is “Range Grade Ammo”? This ammunition is visually inspected in bulk and packaged by weight. This ammunition differs from our other ammunition as it’s not piece by piece inspected and case gauged. A small count of these rounds may deviate slightly from our typical specifications and may (or may not) contain slightly off-seated projectiles or similar minor functional defects. You will receive more rounds than ordered for the chance you find an unsatisfactory round.
Note: Range grade ammunition does not fall under the FedArm satisfaction guarantee & return policy. If you want piece counted mil-spec ammo, please buy the standard “FedArm” branded ammo instead.
This ammunition is available in:
- 500 rounds within a heavy duty shipper box. Weight count over-packing will put approximate received quantity of (505 to 510 rounds total).
- 1,000 rounds within a heavy duty shipper box. Weight count over-packing will put approximate received quantity of (1,005 to 1,015 rounds total).
