.45 ACP 230 Grain TPMJ (Total Poly-Metal Jacket) Round Nose Ammunition
This ammunition is manufactured in the USA using .451 diameter 230 grain “TPMJ” (Total Poly-metal Jacket) Round Nose coated projectiles with ultra-hard lead-antimony cores. These projectiles are die cast/swaged, triple coated, and then re-struck in a carbide die. TPMJ bullets have no exposed lead, thereby avoiding lead exposure upon firing and producing less fouling with higher velocities. The bullets are individually sorted by weight and visually inspected to ensure highest accuracy.
Only once-fired military and police brass is used in loading. This brass is acid washed, processed to SAAMI specifications, and electromagnetically inspected for thin walls and defects to ensure safe internal tolerances.
